Notes: After a series of nearly a dozen Death Note bears, it was a surprise to realize that there had only been one Light. But that's kind of fitting, really. This Light was made in a set with L (below), chained together at the wrist.

Notes: L was made as a set with Light (above), and his paw Velcro'd to his face in imitation of L's quirk of musing with his hand at his mouth (as seen on the cover of Vol. 7 of the manga).

Notes: A group shot of Light and L (above) and their handcuffs. In the series their chain was quite long, so the bears were chained together a couple of feet apart.

Notes: This was the first of several Ryuks, all commissioned by the same fanart studio - but this one started it all. Ryuk is still one of the most complex bears we've made, including his Death Note holster, feathers, belts, and jewelry.

Notes: L's costume design being what it is, it always seems like L bears need something extra. The first L had Light, and handcuffs; this L had cake. Naturally.

Notes: As mentioned in the notes for L the Second, Near just seems to need some kind of prop to jazz up his slacker costume design. We had some toy airplanes around that seemed to fit his character. (And he does have eyes; they're just hidden in the fuzz.)

Notes: L and Light puppets seem to play right into the hands of fangirls, no pun intended. Which is fine by us. (The inset in the larger photo is just a drastically brightened version to prove that L's hair doesn't actually dissolve into the background.) An identical set was made for Tekkoshocon 2009.
