Notes: The first bear into the foray of beardom for me. Not very skilled as a sewer yet, I even glued on his trim. Later I made him a new, better shirt.

Notes: Sarah's favorite zodiac member was next, despite the distinct impression that the Unofficial Ayame Non-Haters Club has a rather small membership.

Notes: A detail view of Ayame's outfit. Rickrack is fun. We hardly ever get to use it.

Notes: A strange little side note about Shigure's making: he was made at the same time as Sylar, which was supposed to be a surprise - surprise gifts are not easy to make for people who visit your house nearly every day. Since both bears were identical except for the clothes (and eyebrows), Shigure acted as a cover.

Notes: Momiji had so many loopy outfits to choose from, but the bell-sleeved, bereted, raspberry-knickers'd one won out.

Notes: Though it's not visible in this shot, Hatsuharu did have (dyed) black fur around the back of his head. He was a fairly complicated little guy, what with the vinyl trench coat and chaps and little gloves.

Notes: Right when the manga was finally coming to its tearjerking conclusion, there was the Kyo-cat. Since his costume design is not technically that complicated, we tried to nail the details, like his paw pads and cargo pants pockets.

Notes: These stones were a replica (with some naturally occurring variations in the stone) of the ornaments that Shigure is making in his first appearance in the series. A 13th stone was also made for the Cat.

Notes: Sarah cosplayed as Kagura in 2005, and made a duplicate of her cosplay backpack for our first Artists' Alley table in 2006. The bag was fully functional, with adjustable straps and inside pockets, with a zipper in the cat's back.

Notes: One of the mainstays for our first several cons were replicas of Kyo's Cat bracelet, made of handpainted wood beads. If you have a tendency to turn into a rabbit-alien-demon, we assume no liability for the use of this product.
