Notes: This would have been a perfect candidate for a sound chip, but I don't think there are sound chips that go "Wah hah haaaa!" (although there should be). Though a whoopee cushion would have also worked.

Notes: Peach's outfit in SSBB was much more elaborate than her usual getup, and made for an interesting project with lots of lace and jewelry and detailing.

Notes: Perler beads (now a.k.a. Funfusion) are plastic beads that can be melted into mosaics, and though they're sold as a kids' craft, they're also well liked among 8-bit enthusiasts for their pixel-like look. This set included items from Zelda and Mario games, made into magnets.

Notes: The 1-Up ottoman was about 2 feet high and perhaps unnecessarily complicated on the inside, with an inflatable cap, a foam stem, and various other padding to keep it all balanced.

Notes: Made out of fleece, plush, high-density foam, bias tape, and stuffing with an inflatable core, the Blue Shell was about two feet across and made a satisfying but non-lethal bonk when thunked off somebody's head. (Please use Blue Shells responsibly.)

Notes: This eminently punchable block was built with a fleece shell around an inflatable core (the same type as the Companion Cube), with plush question mark appliques for some variety of texture. It's about 24" to a side. Sadly, there's no sound chip - that would have been great, though.
